Qashqai Model: Mk.1 Qashqai Facelift - J10b (2010–2013)

Hi,

I wanted to replace my rear camera on my J10 2012 (because the vision and angle is bad) and ordered one of the cameras available on Amazon and other sites.
They all seem to be pretty much the same and have the camera in the "sign lightning".

However, when removing the inside of the trunk door I noticed the connectors are different.
On the one I ordered there's RCA yellow and red, as well as 2 lose cables (power for the sign light I assume), but the original camera is connected with a small white pin connector with about 4 pins in it. (Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture of it...)

Has anyone replaced their camera and know if there's some adapter I can order to make it work, or do I need to cut cables and pull wires throughout the entire car to make this new one work?
Alternatively, do anyone know of any camera that's good and plug and play in the J10 2012 (white pin connector)?

This is what I ordered: https://www.amazon.se/dp/B07TMKH9FW

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the link.
Would this be the same angle as the current one?
The issue I'm having is it's facing too much down instead of back, as well as the image being not great, white in the corners etc.

I'm guessing there's no "upgrade" for better picture quality which are plug and play, say 720p etc.

if you got the camera that you put in your 1st post thats not an original nissan one. so i would expect you to have problems. you wont get any better pic quality as old car and the connect screen will be basic res too

I've already replaced the head unit, so the screen is better.
I was just hoping for a better camera with the original connection to not have to do the wiring throughout the entire car.

Thanks though!

Not more than I currently have,
The angle is downward while I'd like it angled a bit higher and it's a bit blurred/white-ish in the corners (I'm assuming from being old etc).

The camera is working as before with the new unit.
I just wish there was an easy way to get a better camera with the same white pin connector to just unplug the old one and plug in the new one.
That said, I get that it might not be that easy, but that's what I was hoping others would share if they've replaced the camera for something better, how it looked like and how they made it work.

Just to update, I ended up getting the camera to work.
We had to cut the cables on both the new and old camera and pair them together but it was fairly easy to get it working.
We attached the new camera cables to parts of the cables we left that was attached to the white pin connector and then used the connector as it was used by default.
Also had to cut the cable of the old plate lightning and attach the new lightning cables to the power for that to work.

Left the old camera in place as it would've resulted in a hole otherwise.

The camera quality is a massive upgrade and so is the angle as now I can actually see what's behind the vehicle, not just the ground behind me.
