Had our major service carried out at Nissan Dealership yesterday (£360!)
On picking the car up was told that the front brake discs and pads needed replacing pretty soon, and the rears also needing replaced in a few thousand miles.
Quote, replace front and rear Discs and pads........
£760!
Also time for a coolant flush and refil.............
£285!
Think it's time to dust off my tools in the garage

£360 sounds about right for a dealer service.
At the risk of "teaching grandma to suck eggs" - I’m sure you know that a local, reputable, garage will sort out the other bits for a significantly lower price

I'm pretty handy with the oily bits, discs and pads all round will only take a few hours, maybe a few more if I tidy up/paint the calipers/carriers and rust proof the crusty suspension parts. I've looked around and I can get excellent brake parts for £170 (4 discs and pads) and the flush of the coolant for £22 plus around an hour to do.
The dealer even quoted £96 to put two new tyres on (I will supply the new ones from Camskill) and
My local garage in the village who I use for my car will fit for £12 per wheel plus £5 to dispose of the two old tyres.
