Are you sure it's not the frosty air conditioning pipes? In my opinion, it is not good to add AdBlue regularly. This liquid ages and deteriorates. You should not mix old and new. Wait until the tank is completely empty before adding.
Thanks but it's definitely urea crystals that have formed, they have quite an oily texture. I've been topping up from the adblue dispenser at my local petrol station.

I've taken it to the specialist diesel garage as recommended. There was a pin-hole in the adblue line from the tank to the exhaust caused by rubbing another part. The line needs replaced but requires strip down to get access. Around £800 inc VAT.
