Hello all,
I have a 2010 Qashqai with a blower motor issue. For a while the fan made a fairly quiet clicking sound but functioned, but shortly after stopped working at all. Lights all functioned on the console controlling the heater/AC but the fan didn't kick in. Very occasionally the fan would kick in for a short while (10 mins or so) and then stop again. It's now not worked at all for several weeks. I'm guessing the issue is either the blower motor or resistor but no idea which and have no tools to test them with. Googling seems to indicate that replacement is via the easier passenger seat side, behind glove box, but I'd really appreciate any advice on whether it's a new motor or resistor that is most likely needed.
Many thanks

A clicking noise suggests a mechanical issue with the fan itself.

Many thanks - I think the fan is much more likely the issue, I'll order a replacement and try my luck
