Unfortunately the drivers door mirror on our 2021 Qashqai was caught on the garage door. The cover came off and luckily it was undamaged. The flash unit however was broken and split in two. This mirror has the camera and adjustable motor of which neither were damaged. I managed to find a new flasher unit online for a reasonable price.... kudos to http://wingmirrorparts.com/ where I was able to get one within a few days and beautifully packed by them and delivered by the PO.
I then started to try and work out how to fix it. I'm not impressed by the amateurish efforts on Youtube and couldn't really find the answers....so boldly in I went.
The job took about 40 minutes with me being very careful not to break even more bits. I was very pleased with the results and so I thought I would share photos almost step by step. Hopefully they are self explanatory. They may help someone with the same predicament. You just need a T10 star screw driver.

Unfortunately the flasher part was in about 4 bits and it was easer to just buy a new unit as the price was pretty good. £27.16 including delivery (3 days) it also meant it was properly sealed and water proof.
