Hi all,
So…. My story started when my 2018 qashqai’s left headlight would “ever so slightly” flicker every now and then… I’m talking you could only see it on a country lane when it’s pitch black so I honestly just ignored it.
Then the miss was driving it and said a warning message came up saying “headlight system fault” a few times… fast forward a few weeks and now the left light has stopped working completely and whenever I turn them on the “headlight system fault” message comes on.
My question is…. Where do I go from here? I was going to buy a 2nd hand light off eBay but then I’ve come across a few post saying it could be the igniter? Or the controller?? I don’t want to pay out for a headlight and it turns out to be the controller!
Are there any tests or steps anyone can recommend??
