I’ve had cheap non brand seals fail on things like oil filter housings after a few weeks due to the cheap materials used. I’ve even had a halfords own brand oil filter seal leak after a few months. A lot of sellers on ebay and Amazon are not to be trusted, just because they say it’s genuine, often it isn’t. You might get lucky and some people do but for the small savings against the extra work and cost if it doesn’t work, personally I don’t think it’s worth the risk. A friend of mine bought a eBay ‘genuine’ rebuild kit for his transporter injectors, fairly big job to do and guess what, 3 of the 4 leaked all over the place after a few runs and we had to do it all again with quality parts. Been fine now for a year so far. Now I always shop around for genuine branded parts from reputable shops. Always try to get Bosch or equivalent for most items and euro car parts or GSF are usually the cheapest. Halfords often do the odd savings on quality oil. Because these engines seem to be sensitive I always get the correct Nissan coolant which is rarely cheap

Hi, going to service my car next week can anyone recommend any decent service kits, a few on eBay anyone else bought recently, thanks in advance.
I always get all my parts online. Parts in motion i always use. Eurocarparts/carparts4less used to be good but then got too expensive with overpriced stuff then giving you discount codes so it looks like your saveing a lot of cash gsf can be good sometimes but never seem to have much in stock when i check. Halfords are supplied by eurocarparts and then charge you even more in store
The 2 most expensive service items will be oil and fuel filter £30+ all other filters oil. Air. Pollen will be £10 or less.
Thanks , ordered all parts from Parts in motion, now confused about oil , going to use original Nissan oil but confused between C3 or C4 which one should I use?
