QQ J11 2015 offside high beam no live
Hi all, just brain picking, high beam on the offside not working due to no live, can i the dead live wire and take a feed off the live near side high beam so that the 1 live wire feeds both high beam halogen bulbs. Thnx in advance

it's not advisable to splice the live wire from one high beam to the other, as it could lead to uneven brightness or electrical issues.. maybe check the fuse, relay, or wiring for the offside high beam ?
Thnx cordas61, i just had to hear it from someone else to stop me going to work with the pliers, it seems to be s common prob with the offside high beam so will get this sorted then post a fix for it

I had a similar problem on a Renault Scenic and the Main dealer told me one of the computer channels had fried and that it would be around £400 to fix lol. I took a live feed off the working headlight to a new relay that when it switched took a 12v feed directly from the battery to the bulb on the other side. This approach has no effect on the existing working channel or its fuse. Was still working fine when I sold the car several years later.
