BT Menu button greyed out

Hey everyone, happy 2025!

Hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I'm having with my 2020 Qashqai 1.5 DCi and my new Google Pixel 9 (Android 15).

For a long time, I was using an iPhone with Nissan Connect and everything worked perfectly. I could control my music playback through the Bluetooth menu on the car's display – selecting artists, albums, tracks, you name it.

Since switching to the Pixel 9, the Bluetooth menu is greyed out. Music streaming still works fine, but I can only see the track name and use basic controls like next/previous track and play/pause. No more browsing through artists or albums.

Has anyone else experienced this with a Pixel phone or Android 15? Any ideas on how to get the full Bluetooth menu functionality back?

i`m guessing that you paired your new phone by bluetooth to the connect system ok ?

Hi Andy2019, yes all paired ok, everything else works as it should. Send and recieve calls ok, texts coming though ok, Android Auto working ok when plugged in. It's just the BT Menu not available when streaming music when it was when paired with the iPhone
