Hi All,
Ive just got a 2015 Tekna and its got a few niggles im trying to sort out.
It has under car LED's under each door but are chassis mounted not door mounted. I would call them puddle lights but might have a different name? The only info I can find is the official Nissan ones are a continuous bar light, where as I just have a single spot under each door.
Does anyone have more info on what these parts are?
Thank you.

Sounds like you have after market lights fitted.
These are what you need if you want to replace what you have..

I have silver bar side steps/side skirts fitted, wood that change anything do you know?andy2019 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 11:35 pm Sounds like you have after market lights fitted.

think they have 6 led lights each side. many years ago when i first got my qq i did lots of upgrades silver trim on front, scruff plates on each door sill etc, did look and the lights that you have fitted under but couldn`t see the point of them as they will just covered in dirt and mud from the roads, same goes for the side steps looks good but were not climbing into a truck to drive. pop into your local garage and see if they can get your car up on the ramps for a few mins so you can look around under it.

Aren't these just the official "welcome lights" that come as an option?

I fitted these a few years back very easy to do, I posted a thread on it here

Ok so ive had a chance to look under the car, and there are two LED's each side that are mounted into a sidestep 'bar'. Wiring runs into the car in what appears to be the same way as the official puddle light bar. One of the LED's is dim but no idea if its possible to change it. The bar/sidestep is bolted to the car in a bit of a weird way, it doesnt look very standard so guess someone fitted it at some point?

Hi!
I do not think you can change just one LED light. I guess the welcome light strip and sidestep bar share bolts so maybe that explains the modified installation?

I don't have the welcome light strip, the grommets are still exposed. The led's are IN the chrome slide step bar. Mounting uses some janky bracket not the T nut style of the welcome light.lapalmeraie wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 7:32 am Hi!
