I was sitting in the Hairdressers looking at a Motor Mag todayand found what I thought to be at first sight an Old Restored Jaguar (a‚¬16000) - Wrong !. It was a modified Nissan Micra believe it or not with a modified body and sells like hot cakes to women (OK no commnets). On reading the article it appears this Co. has Dealerships for European & US Cars but on the side they get involved in modifying, manufacture and selling these, what I suppose must be called Replica Cars. I have never seen this Co. before but there is a UK Agent in Bucks and they are looking for a German Agent also. Just thought these Designs might be of interest especially the Nissan Micra based Jag - Dave

I had a Jaguar MkII, 2.8 overdrive manual 1969 model which I purchased from an undertaker in 1974 for £600. It was immaculate, finished in Silver with red leather seats. I sold it for £800 in 1977 when we moved house and did not have enough room for the three cars we had.One of the biggest mistakes car wise I have ever made.

Nissan no more...
Its not the first time the Micra has been 'redesigned' into something else. The Nissan Figaro is based on the K10 Micra:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Figaro

There is an immaculate example of this model just up the road from me. There was also one parked at Albrighton Hall, near Shrewsbury, where I stayed last weekend. This one's chrome bumpers were just about rusting through but it otherwise looked good.
