Thanks. It’s actually just a universal black plastic one from eBay. You trim the length to suit and then use the caps to hide the cut. So cheap and easy...

hi mate, the X-Trail tires fit without any issue at all. The spacers are purely for aesthetic purposes to have the wheels sitting out and the stance a bit wider.

There is no rubbing or issues of any sort without them.

hope that helps. It defo looks better with the chunky tires on it!

Surely the bigger tyres have changed the gearing and speedo reading as you now have a much larger rolling circumference?

Hi Flann90 (or anyone else...)
Did you put those Xtrail size tyres on your QQ?
Any problems with 225/55/19 ?
I plan to put winter tyres on my spare 19" set alloys on new 2018 QQ 1.6DC so any information or advice is wellcome!
Thanks
Tom

Hi,

I have replaced all my Conti tyres with the X-Trail size Michelin's. Ride slightly softer, very much less tyre noise, Car Speedo is exactly the same as reported by my sat nav. So Car 60mph = Sat-Nav 60mph. Tyre wall bulges out slightly so will protect rims a little.
