Peter, just a question did you ever contact NCS with your Wheel complaint ?, because if you did by phone or with an email, photos and the returned NCS No. You could wave this in the Dealers face - Dave

Yes as my front 2 were; dealer said Nissan had authorised under "local approval". I interpret that to mean that they (dealership) is authorised to make the swap, and photos submitted later on in process.

Glad I posted this as it gives me some ammo to use as it does seem quite common.
I emailed NCU direct and they basically said they dont cover wear and tear and to speak with the dealer direct and they might be able to put a claim in.

I also have this white worm on a couple of wheels. I haven't spoken to Nissan or the dealer yet as I have alloygators and am wondering if having them would go against any potential claim?
If I were to remove the alloygators would there be any sign of them having been fitted?

Charlie, you might be up against a Brickwall on your Problem. This has been mentioned before and many members have Alloygators and many without. When you start digging into the small print on the website you will find the attached. When removing the Alloygators this is when you will see the problems - I hope you have luck Dave

You will see where the Alloygators were fitted as they leave a scuffed mark where the grit grinds away at the lacquer. If your white worm has originated from elsewhere you may have a case with Nissan.

The pics my dealer took were with my Alloygators and they refitted on new replacement rims- no problems.
