Hello,
Does anyone know what is the cause for all parking sensors to completely stop working? I have enabled this option in car settings but they do not work anymore. Is there any fuse for that or its a major issue? Car is on lease but beyond 3 year manufactures warranty
Thanks

Update on this. Car has developed fault and I have checked through OBD2 for any error codes and there is absolutely nothing. Pics attached. Is there any potential issue with fuse box perhaps?
Any pointers will be appreciated.

hi, did u get anywhere with this? im in the exact same position. although i found that if i disable the rear sensors in settings i dont get the system fault - the front sensors work ok when i do this.

my car is also out of warranty :(

Hi, had exactly the same problem on my Xtrail, front and back parking sensors stopped working. Checked all the fuses, no joy. After about 2 weeks it sorted itself out and started working again. This was probably about a year ago. I have heard of other Xtrail owners w ho have had same fault and apparently it is water that has found its way into one of the parking sensors.
Best of luck with this, hopefully yours will start to work again.

Diagnostics for J11A shows only Sonar Control Unit problems and a single 10A fuse. Thats for all sensors/system failure.

After that its wiring/sensor problems. There are many DTCS (error codes) for individual front and rear sensors. This is tested with Nissan Consult tool and to which a generic OBD scanner may not detect.

Hi Guys . I'm new to the group. I hope this helps someone I've a 2015 ntech qashqai.
Few weeks ago I noticed the beeper on the rear parking sensors sounded a bit weak / distorted. Soon after all the sensors stopped working , I fiddled around with the settings on the steering wheel and noticed that the rear sensors were the problem, by turning them off and in return the front sensors started to work again . .. I rang my local nissan dealership and priced a parking beeper / speaker 25 euro... fitted the speaker myself and system is working perfectly again .. I hope this helps..
