I DO NOT HAVE AN OWNERS MANUAL , I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FORUM FOR FELLOW QQ OWNERS WHO HELP EACH OTHER??? I MUST HAVE GOT THAT WRONG THEN ??? IF SOMEONE ASKS A QUESTION AND SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS THE ANSWER,THEN WHY NOT LET THEM ANSWER??? INSTEAD OF TELLING THEM TO CONSTANTLY REFER TO THE OWNERS MANUAL ??? IF SOMEONE ASKS ME A QUESTION AND I KNOW THE ANSWER I WILL TELL THEM ,IT’S QUICKER,EASIER AND FRIENDLIER ,WE ARE TALKING ABOUT CAR PROBLEMS HERE NOT TOP SECRET NUCLEAR FUSION ISSUES!!!

Your question is very broad as there are many beeps and dings depending on the settings you have activated/de-activated. Perhaps if you could be little more specific about the ding or beep and when it occurs someone may be able to provide assistance
There are a number of links, posted on this site, where you can download a user manual.

combiman, there’s no need to be abusive. Most people have owners manuals, I presume the OP does as he’s recently bought a new model. If he hasn’t got one then a better question to post would be how could he get hold of one. To answer his original question would take a lot of someone’s time as there is a lot to explain.

Den, so I am not sure if you have a Manual or not but this may help if you take a read of this J11A Manual. Look at Section 5 / P176 as the comments might help you - lets hope so Dave

The question remains - why don't you have a manual? - surely that's a key document that you absolutely need!

Absolutely correct chap, this is an owners forum and should be available to people who visit once a year or everyday.combiman wrote: ↑Wed May 16, 2018 5:10 pm I DO NOT HAVE AN OWNERS MANUAL , I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FORUM FOR FELLOW QQ OWNERS WHO HELP EACH OTHER??? While we're at it, I also find it to be quite rude when new or infrequent posters, upon asking a civil question, are met me with a 'use the search button before posting' retort. If anything is going to put people off posting in the future, it's responses like that.
Re the topic of this thread, I remember a few years ago the daunting experiencing of driving my new QQ with all the ringing, bonging and dinging going on. I had to sit in the car for an hour with the manual to hand trying to understand and set up all the technology to my liking.
I've just swapped my old 2014 QQ for a new 2018 model and I'm still struggling to get the thing to chime for speed cameras!
