hello All,

Car just made four years and suddenly all hell let loose.

1. Noticed AC not cooling and took it to the dealer. (have always serviced with them). Im disturbed by the diagnosis. Everything cant possibly go bad at same time. compressor, condenser, air filter, adulterated gas , everything! is this possible?

2. car no longer accelerates well. im asked to change plugs, fuel pump, and some some exhaust catalyst!

this car worked perfectly well before now. can everything possible go bad at once?

whats my best option? can i change the components one at a time in a particular order?

Greetings; I am New to this Forum and am looking forward to your Advise.
Question; When did issues first come to light regarding issues with the Battery in Qashqai?.
I purchased my car in April 2015. issues arose with the Battery in July 18. Nissan refuse to replace it as the car is out of warranty.
I believe that Nissan were aware of problems when my car was last serviced in July 17 and should have changed the Battery at that Service.
Has anyone been successful with this approach. Thanks

Known issue with some FIAMM batteries; try contacting Nissan HO Cust Services and get assigned a Case Manager to pursue. Lots of owners had batteries replaced foc by RAC when they had issues out on road.

UPDATE
just noticed yours is a J10 model so no good will claim could be entertained.
Remember majority of posts here on air con relate to the J11 model; there's a specific thread for the J10 vintage.
At least that model doesn't use the much more expensive + leaky/inflammable refrigerant
used in current model, as far as I'm aware.

If the condenser has been damaged then the system will have lost its refrigerant, the
compressor will have been running dry and probably worn. The cabin filter is part of a major service so shouldn’t really be an issue.

The cabin filter is now replaced at minor services too - as I found to my cost - £40 extra to be precise...
