Hi, hoping someone can help,
We are now on our 3rd Qashqai, this one is the Accenta Premium on a 68 plate. I note that the speed camera recognition has disappeared from Nissan connect 3. I purchased the download from the pocket gps world database and have tried unsuccessfully to install via usb in the car. I get a message saying "check usb or ipod". I have tried 8 different usb sticks, the last one was last than 4 mgbs, and formatted to Fat32 and I also tried Fat through looking at advice on another site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nissan Connect never had speed camera recognition, just speed camera warnings.

Dazza, like you lve tried various downloads and usb sticks including a purchased download. Beginning to think there isn’t a software fix out there yet to get speed camera alerts added. V disappointing considering it’s legal in UK but we get penalised due to rules on the continent. Nissan should be providing a UK only update in my view.

I've recently put the pocket GPS alerts on my 2018 Tekna no prob and work fine. Are you sure you've followed there installation guide to a tee? And your folder and path are word perfect. I used a 128gb stick o fat32.

The user had trouble with the system recognising the update. My car isn't even recognising the multiple usb sticks I've tried. It just says check usb or iPod.gloucester wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 5:43 pmWelcome to this forum.

2. Why the Nissan Connect device do not recognize the USB stick?
Pay special attention to the USB stick. You should use an USB stick smaller than 4 GB. Reformat the USB stick before using (do not use quick format). Reformat as FAT (not: FAT32 or exFAT). USB-Sticks with more than 4 GB capacity cannot be formatted as FAT. Take care of the correct spelling of the directories: folder myPOIs + subfolder myPOIWarnings + file nissan_connect.csv.
Note: In exceptional cases, it worked with a FAT32 formatted USB stick. However, we only know a few cases. Please try also with FAT32, if it doesn't work with FAT.
Something from i site I saw earlier.

Thanks for that. I have since been told that the new Nissan Connect system no longer supports a SD card, which mine doesnt. The maps are updated by Wi-Fi and USB. However, the ability to put your own pois have now been stopped by Nissan. This is only on the new systems, from the 68 plate. This came from Nissan.Noddy1875 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 12:26 am 2.
