Nissan connect rebooting and music cutting out when playing via Bluetooth
I spoke to my dealer and he confirmed the fix was available. I asked if it worked and he said he had no idea (!) but said he would "like to think Nissan have tested it and confirmed it works before rolling it out to dealers". He is fine to apply it (it takes about an hour), but I don't think I will bother until we have some confirmations that the fix works.

Page 2 onwards discuss this. It's a very lengthy thread, but the process itself is fairly easy.
basically download the file, stick it on a USB stick, do the upgrade. The main issue is you cannot risk the engine turning off mid-upgrade, so the Nissan way of doing it is to leave the hazards running. Much easier to just wait till you are going on a longish drive (1 hr approx), and do it then with stop/start turned off.
But of course there's a new version out that fixes the big problem everyone is having, so probably not worth doing unless someone can get hold of this newest update.

I can't see Nissan allowing the DIY'ers amongst us access to the software. I would imagine its via the dealer network only.

Have just booked an appointment with Wessex Nissan, Bristol. They have the update, but I had to wait till 11th July to book it in. No mention of a charge, so I'll have to print off a few posts from here in case they try to charge!

Had a phone call from Nissan HO confirming what others have advised - that a permanent software fix is now with dealers and I should make an appointment for a free of charge update. The only problem being that my supplying dealer is reluctant at the moment to make appointments! Will try an alternative main dealer. Mike - 3 and a half year old 1.2digT
