Qashqai Model: Mk.3 Qashqai - J12 (2021+) New Model

Post by scatz »

Hi All

New to this Forum

We are thinking of going for a new Quashqai, and I am interested to hear from anyone's experience of the new 1.5DCI engine for MPG ?

Has anyone got any feedback ? I realise it's quite a new engine for this car, so may not have any info so far. Just wanted to get some more real-life figures from people

Thanks !

My highest figure was 77mpg and if I had stayed on the M62 it would have carried on climbing, wish I had updated the display to save the figure, my current saved figure is 69mpg and that was continuing to climb, but once again I had to exit the M62.

Pottering around town / short journeys is in the region of 55 / 60mpg, which I'm very happy with.

Blimey, that is humungous amounts of MPG !!! If I'm getting 55+ on short journeys, then I'm a happy guy ! Currently getting 25-30 locally in my XC60 D5 leased car which is soon to go (40 on very long slow steady non-hilly motorway run). Thanks for the reply Weasel !

I have achieved 60.7mpg over 11,000 miles of motoring since January 2019. In the daytime with higher summer temps 68+mpg is easily achieved but in the winter and especially at night it drops to around 54 mpg (heated seats on, heated windscreen on, lights on etc etc).
