HI
My Nissan Qashqui 2014 model has a petrol engine. When i fill up the range is around 210 miles on the a full tank. I am sure in the past I remember this being a lot higher? Is there a problem?
Thanks
Eliza

Depends on how/the type of driving you have been doing prior to filling up.

It might also depend on whether you regularly reset the mpg figure in the car’s computer

210 miles doesn't sound very much for a tankful. How much do you get in when you fill up? If you get 50 litres in then you are getting about 20 mpg which could be caused by countless short shopping runs, or if you regularly do longer runs then it looks like something is wrong with the engine (blocked air filter?).

If you only get 30 litres in, this could be a collapsed fuel tank. I've heard of this in other cars where the ventilation system is blocked and the gradual removal of fuel from the tank causes problems, although I don't know if this happens on the QQ

ny diesel engine full tank dispay shows around 628 miles before refilling, I would be interested to know how many miles to go to refil when the low fuel warning indicator comes into force, 60 miles on my last car, a Ford C-Max

I run a 2016 Qashqai - 1.2 petrol.
I cover about 500 miles per week doing the same journeys in the same manner.

When I fill up - the range says 470 miles - but in reality it eventually ends up being 430

Consider using a fuel system cleaner like Forte. Its helped me out a couple of times in the past with issues like this.

Welcome to this forum.

The first thing to do is a brim-to-brim actual fuel usage calculation so you know what the actual consumption is.

The problem is that the predicted mpg/mileage is calculated by the car’s computer, based on the mpg at that moment. The speedo is almost certainly not correct but I believe that’s deliberate from Nissan. Doing a long late night motorway run in fog, restricted to 50-ish mph my mpg figure shot up but moderated when "normal" speed was possible.

As Gloucester says, you need to do a few brim-to-brim real world tanks to get an idea of your genuine consumption.
