1.5dci engine type - J11 engine in a late J10?

Hi all
Ive just bought a Dec 2013 1.5dci (mk 1shape) which has a missing engine cover. No problem I thought, it’s a J10 and plenty of covers available. However, my engine has a combined filler and dipstick at the front unlike the usual j10 1.5 layout having separate filler and dipstick. I’m wondering if, because it’s one of the last of the old shape, Nissan started to use the later j11 engine until the mk2 car came on stream? Anyone else got a late mk1 with the same arrangement who can confirm if it’s the same engine as the j11?

Have you looked at "engine" pictures of similar cars on Autotrader?

Thanks, yes, plenty of boot and dash photos but no underbonnet shots unfortunately.
