Hi all,

I'm looking into a compression test kit so I can perform the test myself.
Procesdure is fairly straight forward:
- Warm engine
- Remove all four spark plugs
- Isolate ignition system
- Thread in compression tester into spark plug one
- Hop into driver seat, crank about 4-5 times or until till gauge stops rising
- Move onto cylinder two

Question is, what is the best way to isolate ignition system? Take the fuse out?

Also, anyone tried this and what kit did you buy?

Haven't a clue

https://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/a8520/cars-101-how-to-do-a-compression-test-14912158/ suggests:

STEP 1 Remove the fuel pump and fuel-injection fuses. Disconnect the main wire to the coil and spark plug wires; remove spark plugs.

Remove plugs from each ignition coil. Keep away from cylinders. Couple of turns on starter for each cylinder.

Used to do it on other cars and hoped the pressure tester was accurate enough.
