kaylan731 - Welcome to this forum.

Note the noise issue can be down to the actual tyres fitted as well as the wheel size. Different tyres have different noise ratings - check out what yours are before changing wheels. I swapped to quieter Dunlops on mine.

Exactly what gloucester said. I got Dunlops on my 19" and they are great. I had 18" rims with Bridgestone tyres on my N Connecta before this car and that was noisy. So I guess put up with it until you need a tyre change.

Thank you for your reply Dave and the link.
I decided to take the forums advise and check the tyre pressures having seen the info label photo.
This is only day 3 of owning the car and as it supposing had a full service the day I collected it, I expected the tyre pressures to be spot on.
As there is only the two of us and no luggage the pressure should show 30psi rear and 33psi front.
What I found was 30psi rear and 40psi front !!! So much for the full service. I dropped the fronts down to 33psi and we went for a run on the same roads as yesterday when the noise was unbearable.
Joy of Joys the level of noise was drastically reduced. What a relief !!
Good advice on this forum saved me a lot of heart ache (and ear ache) :D

The tyres on my QQ don't have a lot of life left in them, so I will definitely be taking your advice and look at changing to Dunlop's when the time comes.
Need to save the pennies first as new car and Christmas drained the bank somewhat.
Thanks Gloucester and Red Rooster for your help.

The points raised on Noise are very relevant. Our old QQ J11A had the Dunlop Sport Maxx and were Noise rated @ 67dB. We have at present on our J11B 17” Winter Alloy Wheels and the Tyres are Falkens rated @ 71dB, our summer Tyres have been changed to Michelin rated at 71dB from Dunlop’s (regarding the Side Walls). Will be interesting to see if there is any notable difference - Dave 😉
