My first experience with a Diesel engine, reading conflicting info, so who better to ask than you guys, which oil is most popular among us 1.5 Dci owners? Don't really want to line dealers pockets for their oil so what is recommended by qashqai owners? or part 5w 30??, makes & stockists much appreciated.

I bought the Halfords own brand at whatever the rating in the hand book said. Used hardly any over just under 30 thousand

Shell 5w30 c4 oil is what i've got in mine 😀 fully synth around £26 for 5ltr bottle.

And me (skinflint). Used it in my BMW and Fully Synthetic no problem. Change at recommended periods.
