Thats symptomatic of the main Battery failure. Particularly the FIAMM Battery from 2017 on...as mine. One exception though...you don't get a second start being successful.

There's not a way to diagnose such an occurrence. Keep the RAC number handy.

It could be if you have followed Service requirements which includes RAC recovery. Either RAC or dealer should test it to determine if replace.

Den, I have mentioned recently before about this Battery Problem. Before buying our new QQ I asked what the Battery Make / Type it would be and I was told a VARTA. Since Dec I have seen no problems with occasional little electrical hiccups which appeared before even with our second FIAMM Battery. With this VARTA Battery even the “Stop Start” works constantly as soon as the motor has reached temperature - Dave 😊
I cannot find many VARTA of this Type advertised here but plenty of FIAMM with the same Spec 12V-L3 EFB 70Ah 720A (EN)

Den, This is a comment from a member of the other Forum on FIAMM Batteries :

NISSAN NISSAN NISSAN Angry
Ever heard the saying - buy cheap and you buy
Apparently not.
The only problem I had with my 2014 Qashqai was a replacement for my FIAMM
The only problem so far with my 2017 Qashqai....? SAME.
How many times have Nissan had to pay for two batteries per car? Be interesting to know, because Mr RAC (same guy replaced the last one) said the only time he ever gets called out to a Qashqai is for a battery replacement and he expects to do ONE A WEEK....!!!
Pathetic.

So I now have a Varta battery and they are apparently £210 a pop Shocked.

Den, if I were you I would double check the Battery Spec I have (1,3L / 160PS / DCT) with your Nissan Dealer or Battery Dealer for your Diesel just to be on the safe side - Dave 👍
