Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021)

Post by Peter Rice »

Hi all, recently purchased Storm White 19 plate Tekna 1.7 DCI With 5 miles on the clock. I guess that makes me a J11.

Not able to drive it much for obvious reasons, but really pleased with it, it’s a very nice place to be!

Hi Peter Welcome to the Forum. You could actually be what is termed a “J11B”. The previous Model was designated the “J11A - Dave 😉

Thanks Dave, a J11B...... what more could I possibly want?

To be honest, for what I paid, with the amount of extra kit it has, it was a bargain. I actually prefer the leather/ cloth seats in this to the quilted leather in the Tekna +

Just having a look through some posts and beginning to wonder if I have made a sound purchase.....there appears to be an awful lot of issues that owners of QQs are having. I don’t know if this is true of models 2 or 3 years old? I was hoping a 19 plate might give me some trouble free motoring.

Any positive comments on newer models.....please!!!

Welcome to this forum.

The main problem with newer diesels is AdBlue issues but hopefully Nissan will by now have sorted out why there were problems with early ones - late 2018.

Yours was obviously "hanging around" a while so hopefully it hasn't suffered from not being used for many months.

J11B on left, J11 aka J11A on the right

Essentially everything ahead of the A pillar is revised plus a new back bumper and lights.

Didn’t J11B get new infotainment / apple CarPlay? Daytime runners slightly different also.
