Hi all,
New to this forum so sorry if this has been asked in a previous post.
I have a 1.6 acenta petrol. It has started clunking when pulling away, although not every time. It feels as if it is coming from under the drivers side foot well, or that sort of area?? Does anyone have any idea of what this could be? I have popped my OBD reader in to see if there are any faults but there aren't any.
It's strange as this doesn't happen every time when pulling away, the sound it doesn't pick up on my dash cam when i thought it would.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Where mechanical problems are concerned you won't get OBD codes. If its a clunk thats pretty much related to wheel rotation/acceleration you could have faulty CV joints...drive shaft ends. They enable wheel rotation/drive with both steering and suspension movement. Also known as a universal joint.
Its an MoT failure AFAIK because they can break up, so a garage check would be useful.
Principal Operation..drive train/transmission use.
