Hi, im new to the forum.i have recently purchased a qashqai 1.5 accenta premium 2019 diesel from a nissan dealer. It only has 9000 miles on it but now has a adblue fault with a mil engine fault aswell.its not counting down mileage before it wont start.i have it booked into dealership this week but i am concerned that this fault is a ongoing problem that nissan cant fix.i have topped ad blue with 12ltrs but still in fault. Has anyone had this fault fixed by nissan yet ??? Regards MICK

Welcome to this forum.
I don't have any direct experience but there were a lot of problems reported when Nissan launched the AdBlue equipped diesel engines. A search on here using <AdBlue> should reveal them.
They've now discontinued selling diesel Qashqais entirely!

When I first got my 19 plate I had the AdBlue fault with the MIL light on, which as if by magic cleared themselves before the RAC guy turned up.
I put it down to a dodgy battery as the RAC guy couldn't find anything wrong, not even the battery for that matter.

Probably end up having a ADCM (adblue control module) if available if not then a tank as it comes with an ADCM.

Yes, I've had the Start / Stop failure too, though like the other faults it cleared itself and once again I put it down to the battery, so your dealer is probably correct.
Insist you get a new battery fitted and make sure they do, I think the RAC are fitting the new Varta AGM batteries as opposed to the crappy EFB that normally come as standard, so try and get one of those fitted.

Its sounds like a battery issue. Hopefully you are using a good dealership. I had a couple of stop/start issues with my 2017 car and no real indication that the battery was at fault. At the next service they changed out the battery without any prompting as it showed a bad cell. My stop/start now works extremely reliably. Best of luck.
