Has anyone used this make etc? views any opinions, other options appreciated., but really don't want to spend more than £250.
Thanks

Its difficult to say really. The very cheapest can identify simple error codes and are Chinese knock offs usually. Some of the error codes are not detectable or incorrectly identified by non proprietary scanners and cannot reset codes of certain types. I bought one for £50 that is not a knock off...never used it.

Perhaps you might ask your local garage what they use?

Hi,
I bought the Icarsoft cr pro last week to encode my newly changed injectors. (2012 Qashqai K9K 1.5dCi 110hp)
As soon as I would enter the first new code, the red engine light would appear. I reset the error codes but at first full restart (waiting until everything's off), the red light would appear again at ignition.

Changing back to the old codes with the same tool solved the red light problem, but not my injection issues.

Not all monitors are available.

Otherwise, the tool interface is ok. Sometimes a bit stupid, e.g.:
* Every diagnostic function would ask again for the brand/ecu/model/engine.
* The keys to go forward and back are sometimes F1/F2, sometimes return/back. Browsing logic is a bit strange.

I also have the feeling that Icarsoft is spamming YouTube with fake demos (and it's what made me bought it, so it works...)

So rather disappointed, I will return it (bought on Amazon)

Hope it helps

I use an iCarsoft i810 and have found it very useful. It identifies and removes fault codes and many other thing I am not yet au fait with, still learning. Not used it on the Qashqai yet, but used a a fair bit on the old B Class Merc.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.

Thanks all for the replies..
I've ordered this today on ebay.."iCarsoft CR V2.0 - 2021 FULL System Diagnostic Tool -covers 10 MAKES "
from UK Parts Direct Ltd.. Westbury.. hopefully things go OK.
There certainly appears to be lots of unofficial sellers about, so hoping UK Parts Direct Ltd, will be able to help, if I have any problems..
