Doug, nice looking Juke just what we were after very impressive (now what about a Nismo ) after our earlier version, but as you mentioned it has the 1,0L motor so we went for the 1,3L / DCT QQ Tekna + - Dave

Just to give you something else to think about! I owned a Qashqai J11A (2015) Tekna cvt diesel. Really loved the car, but have recently p/exchanged it for a new Juke Tekna+. I've had the car a month now, and was a bit dubious as it only comes with a one litre, albeit turbo charged engine. It has a DCT autobox, but I needn't have worried, as it performs great. Personally I don't find the DCT box as smooth as the CVT was, but am getting used to it. The Tekna and Tekna+ Juke come fully loaded with kit, and the Bose sound system is lovely (has speakers fitted in the headrests), and the seats are extremely comfy and lovely to look at!
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Doug
I’m in two minds about the QQ J12 and an considering heading back to Juke ownership.
The small engine was a concern but with the DCT it shouldn’t be under excessive strain.
Thanks for posting your pictures

Dave, the distance is about the same as to the factory in sunderland:) anyway I was at the dealership today and there was a juke in the saloon gun metal/black top, I don’t like the black addition, so it will be gun metallic only, here is the pic I took,

The CVT is a "gearbox" and is just as likely to go wrong as a conventional one - if you want a car without a gearbox you'll need to get an electric one (though some of those have gearboxes too!)

I think keeping a Qashqai as a forever car may be a stretch, I don't think the build quality is there or the electronics reliability although I don't have any issues with my 2017 bar the crap diamond cut alloys. Not sure if you are one of those becoming rarer individuals, who still puts their car in a garage, but my 2017 J11 fits with folded mirrors (would be a stretch if I didn't have a double width garage) however the J12 is over 3 cm wider and I would have problems opening doors inside after really struggling to get it through a standard UK garage door.
