I have a 2020 (70 plate) Tekna plus - Auto - about 8000 miles on the clock.
Just managed to fill it up today with E10 fuel from Esso (the only option I had), Shortly afterwards, the engine slightly misfires when you accelerate from start (also makes a strange noise) and the car performance feels deteriorated. Even the dashboard lights started to dim, The car does not report any faults on the onboard computer.
I know from the Government site does mentions my car is compatible to use E10.
Spoke to a mechanic friend and he mentioned to take it back to the dealer to sort the Engine timing out. I take it Nissan will not charge me for them to look at this and resolved it, as the car is still under warranty? (sorry to ask a dumb question).
Has anyone had this issue?

No one else has reported problems with E10 - may have simply been faulty fuel?
Have you contacted the garage?

I've had a couple of fill ups with the new recipe of petrol and haven’t noticed anything.
Full tank on Wednesday and driving to Cornwall, I’ll report in if I have any issues.

My 2011 Twingo doesn't like E10, even though Renault say it's ok to use, so switched back to super unleaded and all back to normal now.
Luckily the Qash is diesel

Its a bit of a problem presented to us I'd say. Who exactly brews this stuff and who mixes it?
If you go to Nissan it might be worth getting a sample of that fuel and note the fuel station where you got it (place/date/time). An email to Esso might kick them off into checking this fuel sample. What was at that station has likely gone to others.
I had water enter my tank many years ago from a fuel station fill up. That caused me quite some aggro and I had to take the cars tank out and dismantle Carb etc. No help in those days.

Curiously the only thing I've noticed using E10 fuel is an unexpected improvement in economy! (In my Ignis of course).
I got an incredible 71.9mpg on a trip to Coventry and back.

There are a few lines of code in your ECU...been dormant and now found its role. Need lawyers on the case.

.
"the best laid plans of mice and men……."
Not wanting to be seen as a "Richardhead" I opted to go to the nearest petrol station and wait.
Almost no queue, perhaps because they only had diesel and super unleaded.
So, I filled up with the super unleaded.
Driving home in 3 weeks when I expect things to be back to normal.

There was another truck driver blocker I wasn't aware of:
Seems local GPs couldn't conduct annual medicals for them. Can't imagine why....
Must be a bunch more major screw ups coming down the line...

Mbaks7, I have the same QQ but not using the E10 Fuels which have been around here for years. Attached are a few comments FYI - Dave
It states on the UK Government Website this :
Nissan : E10 petrol is cleared for use in all models with petrol engines from 1st January 2000. Older petrol models should continue to use E5.
A couple of comments from the RAC :
If you put E10 fuel in an incompatible car it will still run, but seals, plastics and metals may be damaged over longer periods as a result of bioethanol's corrosive properties. It is a hygroscopic, which means it absorbs water from the atmosphere, leading to condensation in fuel tanks if the car remains unused for long periods of time.
Those with E10 compatible cars will unfortunately find they are getting fewer miles to the gallon as the fuel is less efficient than E5 fuel, due to it containing 5% more ethanol. (But Gloucester states he is getting more mpg).
