I was intrigued by this video showing a J12 with different equipment with respect to western Europe: side parking sensors and a “P” button near the start/stop button. The model is the top version in Turkey (Platinum Premium) and features INTELLIGENT PARKING ASSIST (IPA), that is automatic parking !! Astonished that this feature is available in Turkey and not in western EU!!

Yes the Turkey’s models have the automatic parking assist, they also are equipped with led’s washers but they don’t have head up display.
It’s depends on the main importer of each country with which elements will equipped the models of his market.
If it’s any consolation the P button is replacing the light for the wireless charging pad in the model I have so I’d hazard a guess that the version they’re showing doesn’t have a wireless charge pad.
Saying that I had a J11 for 2 weeks once as a hire car and I must have used the IPA once in all that time so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. It’s prob in the software but just locked out based on region.

It's just a gimmick imo, if you can drive, you can park. If you can't park, don't drive, you're not competent enough.

I understand the point of those who already had this option on previous cars and judged it useless, but for those who never tried it before might have been a nice option to add. Really don't understand Nissan commercial strategy...
It would appear that Park Assist is now available on UK models but currently limited to e-POWER Tekna Automatic models.
Nissan refer to it as ProPILOT Park.
