Hi,
i have Nissan Qashqai j11 2021 without bose sound system but i'm looking on upgrade it.
I'm searching for used car parts and its hard to understand if there is amplifier specifically for speakers of its only for sub since used car parts dealers sell different packages like:
Ones sell 6 speakers + sub + amplifier, some 6 speakers + sub no amplifier and some sell 6 speakers only.
So my question is if i could get away of buying only 6 bose speakers and replace current stock ones or i need also amplifier for it.
side question:
Official Nissan dealer offers upgrade to focal sound system 6 speakers + sub for around 800, maybe someone has this option and can give their thought on it?
thanks!

I had the Bose system in my 2019 Tekna.
I didn’t think it was better than the ordinary sound system, if I could have deleted the system from my 2022 Tekna+ I would have done it in a heartbeat.

Well i haven't compared bose to stock option with my ears but i hope there should be some improvement.
If i could mount bose spealers without amplifier i would consider it to be best/cheapest option. Otherwise will consider upgrade to focal sound system offered by official dealers.

The sub in bose option is pretty weak. But inside spare wheel you can't expect much.
It has three wires. Does anybody knows what they are?
The sound experience from rest of speakers is upgrade over stock ones.

So i did some more digging and it seems that the amplifier (located under seat) is used to for speakers and sub has its own internally. So my guess is probably its not a good idea to install only bose speakers without amp because it might be lacking "power" straight from radio unit.

Welcome to this forum.
I'm from the "why bother" camp I'm afraid - I've never had any inclination to upgrade the standard setup in any recent car I've owned.
