Hi
I bought a secondhand Quashqai 2.0 diesel 2011 model recently with 106k on the clock and a full service history. It’s in excellent condition, and generally drives well. We’ve only done about 1000 miles in it and it developed a vibration through the car at higher speed (70mph) which gradually got worse until it was doing it anywhere down to 40mph. The dealer changed a driveshaft, but after we got it back it did 200 mile or so and the problem returned. We decided to put it into a local Nissan dealer for a diagnostic, and they say it’s probably injector related as they can feel it at all speeds and under hard acceleration, with it also getting worse as engine temperature climbs. They recommend taking the injectors for testing at a specialist.
I’m not a great mechanic, I can change oil etc and I’m pretty hands-on when it comes to building work (not a lot of use here!), so I need advice from anyone that may have had this problem before. I’ve checked a lot on the internet and found all sorts of things that seem to be similar but without many decisive results. I did get a APA warranty with the car so will be checking with them as to whether this is covered. The car is drivable but when it vibrates it doesn’t feel like you want to keep on driving it.
I hope someone can give this newbie some help or pointers, thanks in advance for anyone that can!
Dave

Welcome to this forum.
I can't advise but there are others much more knowledgeable than me who hopefully will be along shortly.
