Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021)

Post by pigboy »

Hi all, first post. Had my 2017 Qashqai for 6 months or so now. Couple of issues just arose...
First of the most annoying the drivers door lock seems not to want to unlock on the central locking press on the handle or fob. I take the key out the fob and it will unlock manually, bit of a pain. Is this common on the Qashqai and whats the cure?

Secondly door speakers appear to be blown again is this common, I cant vouch for how loud the Previous owner had them but perhaps they liked their bass loud, is this common?

Faulty door lock actuator is what you have there, lots and lots of threads posted regarding this.
Can't help you with the speakers I'm afraid, someone will be along soon to help out.

blown speakers is down to how the last owner blasted the tunes out. easy to replace did my front driver side one a few yrs ago as it had blown when i had the car, got a 2nd hand speaker off ebay around £14, worked a treat. rear door speakers are easy to replace to as less things to remove on the rear doors.
