Qashqai 2017 J11 facelift 1.6dci, been having problems starting on these cold mornings, had battery replaced stop start type plus had it programmed, was no better so replaced glow plugs, took the original NGK ones out and replaced with Bosch glow plugs, it’s no better at a cold start, I’ve done loads of research and it points me into a possible faulty glow plug relay, I’ve located one on eBay off a 2018 model which I’m assured is same however I cannot see anything under bonnet that resembles the pic that’s on eBay , I have searched this forum this is why I’m starting a new thread, also are they easy enough to fit, any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've found this:

Glow Control Unit

Glow Control Unit performs PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) communication with ECM. It improves engine starting function by performing glow control.

It's item 11 here:
The picture I've posted above looks like item 9 which it the "thermoplunger unit"

Let us know how you get on. BTW the workshop manual often starts "Take off the front bumper" - hopefully there's a way to do it without so doing!
