Software Version

How do I find out what Software Version I have on my 2016 Tekna infotainment - as the DAB signal drops out now and again?
I’ve contacted Nissan Customer Service - they say a free update is available for the vehicle - if the update hasn’t already been done ? - If it has - then possibly a £60 charge from the Dealer.

Is there any way of checking what version I have already and does anyone know what version needs to be installed?

Thanks in advance

D605 was the last update. check what you have..

Press and hold the "Setup" button and then turn the "Enter" button a half turn anticlockwise, then a half turn clockwise, then a half turn anticlockwise. The service menu will then appear. Release the "Setup"

Press the "Version" button on the screen. The 'Service Version' screen will appear.

Thanks for the information Andy.

Just checked - The version I have currently is D302 - I’ll book it in with the dealer to get it updated to the current version.

Might be a silly question, but does this update the Sat Nav as well to the current version ? Or is that a different update via SD Card?

Will take an hour to update. Sd card for the maps. Can be found on ebay around £20 for the v5 maps card 2019/2020

I have a 1 year old BMW mini with DAB. DAB drops out now and again. If it's infrequent, then it's most probably to do with signal strength and not a problem with the car. If you want technical answers a search will tell you about the different DAB standards and why it's poor in the UK

Can depend where you live as if you're in N Yorks/North East and served by the Bilsdale transmitter that caught fire last year....signal remains somewhat ropey
