Not sure you can mention logic and the Nissan head units in the same sentence without using a winking emoji 😉

Not sure whether everybody is aware that as the head unit only uses FAT32 formatted and FAT32 on windows won't format a USB stick above 32Gb you need to use another tool to format the stick. Have a look here:

I'd forgotten that FAT32 limitation. Have tried NTFS and exFAT as well. The tool mentioned I tried last year on a post similar to this one....fail.

Yesterday I tested a Sandisk 64GB stick. No errors (as above) on this stick but it requires a 890ma power budget I note. Tried in the Nissan headunit...dead.

I'll repeat that all my USB sticks mentioned in tests work perfectly on Win10 (NTFS & FAT32)/Linux Mint (EXT4) . And thats with reported errors I have shown above.

At the moment this still looks like a headunit powering weakness. I have a 128GB Sandisk stick to test today...not expecting success.

Very pleased to hear that. I've ceased testing the headunit because its either design limited or faulty. A headunit replacement is at the upper end of looney tunes particularly as regards cost.
