I received my new J12 yesterday, so I think this is a good time to post my own topic. Sorry for the large images, not sure if I can resize them in post.

So far I have driven just 45km.

Photos I took at dealership before towbar and winter package install:

And after I got the car for myself

Here is a screenshot from the Nissan Connect app. Car has an eSIM in it according to my dealer, so it's able to communicate with the app. You can also lock/unlock the car, make it flash lights or sound the horn.

I have a 512 page manual to read through. If you want more info about the AWD CVT model, please ask and I'll look around the car.

Also, I will be installing blackvue dr900x-2ch plus dashcam this evening or tomorrow to the car. Front cam is easy to install, just need to piggybag the fuses for power, but rear camera is more difficult because of the cable pulling through the car to the camera.

And to end this topic, dealer told me that my J12 is the first one they have handed over to customer, so there are no other J12s in my area. All others he has on order are still being made or waiting to be made.

ilkka, well it looks like congratulations on your AWD QQ J12 it’s looking good. It also looks like the Forum is going to be Full of all these gleaming new pics of the J12’s 😁 - Dave 😉👍
Just to cheer you up yesterday was a Test Report on a QQ J12 AWD in the German “Autobild” with in general very positive comments which are normally IMHO given to German Cars (main criticism was the single available engine type) :

“The small turbo petrol engine works with the CVT automatic in a vivid and fluid way. But it is the only engine in Qashqai 4WD”.
“Nissan : the new Qashqai 4x4 drives very pleasantly and the adaptive all-wheel drive is well integrated into the driving programs and works fine. It’s just a pity that the mild hybrid petrol engine is the only available engine”.

Your dealer saying it’s the first one they have passed to a customer- sounds about right I am down south and I have yet to see a J12 on the road apart from the dealer demo’s

Sandgrounder solved it before me, but yeah there is a horizontal metal bar in that cut-out.

On another note, the fuses on J12 are micro2 fuses and looks like nobody is selling micro fuse taps in Finland so I need to order some online. Hardwiring my dashcam has to wait, so I just took power from the front 12V outlet for the time being and routed the wire under glovebox and around A-pillar. Need to figure out how to get the rear cam cable through next.

We're all "down south" from ilkka's (our Finnish correspondent) point of view

Nissan's own door sill plates are priced highly at 197 euros over here and while there are many general plates, these seem to be made just for J12 and are made in EU, so no additional custom costs. Chrome and anthracite color options available. I did order the ones linked below.

I have just changed to winter tires, since we got first snow on the weekend. I asked the dealer if tire change can be included in the price since winter is almost here when I got the car. He promised it would be, so I got these changed at the dealership.

Ilkka, did you purchase the Winter Alloys (which type) & Tyres from your Dealer ? The Alloy Wheels do not look like a Nissan J12 Std. & with 215/65R17 Michelin X-ICE NORTH “Studded”, are these specific type for Finland. Here in Germany
“Studded” Tyres are not allowed - Dave 😉
“Only snow tires without spikes or studs are allowed in Germany. Tires designed for snow function better than multi-purpose tires. All tires must have at least 1.6 millimeters of tread depth, but for maximum safety tires with less than 4 millimeters should be replaced.”

We will have on Friday on the QQ J11B the Winter Black Giacuzzo Bravo-Line Alloys with Falken 215/60R17.
I have also used Security Bolts from “OZ” (1x per Wheel) you can also get Black Plastic Caps for the Std Bolts and for the “OZ” Bolts I have St, Stl ones.
