hi all im a newby to the forum and would like to start by saying hello... been the owner of the j10 for last couple of year and so far its been spend spend spend .
last night i had unwanted visitors and instead of just breaking the side glass they prised the metal part of the door creasing the outer skin. sadly my go to bloke cant help as hes away till 5th dec. so today i went to the local breakers and got a replacement glass. cant find any info online except removing the door card. is there any tip that i need to know before starting to replace the glass.

Did the job this morning. Very str forward. No specialist tools required. Just line the bolts up via the inspection holes then removed the panel to clean up old glass. Reassemble. Took me about 40 minutes.
Horn decided to also stop working today. Fuse, relay, ground and horn all working/ok so guess it's the clock spring behind the airbag . Like the car when it's work but I get the feeling I'm building the car from the ground up
