£130 does sound a lot as camera it's self is around £140 any local places who may have more experience in those types of things. Dealers I've dealt with near me are at best useless. Hence Nissan UK giving me a £200 good will voucher full tank of petrol and carwow giving me a Amazon £50 voucher.Roland wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 1:22 am My new dashcam arrived today, it was not plug and play without taking several panels off. Disappointing its maximum resolution is 1920x1080 - I wouldn't bother with anything less than that. Admittedly it's a 120º viewing angle so things won't be as small as with my Nextbase 312GW which is 140º (as is its replacement the 322GW)
Interesting to note that https://www.transcend-info.com/Article/Dashcam states:
The most common field of view found among dashcams is 130 degrees to 160 degrees. While a larger field of view means more imagery is captured, this comes at the cost of distortion and decreased resolution, particularly around the edges. Therefore, a wider angular field of view isn't necessarily better.
