Introducing myself

Heiio to eveybody My name is Roland.
I have just taken delivery of my sixth Qashqai Tekna J12 after waiting 5 months, so far i am very pleased with it. I am looking to fit the new Nissan dashcam which nobody seems to have any info on.
My dealer insisted that Nissan did not do a front camera and tried to sell me a front and rear for £350. soI have ordered one from online nissan and hopefully it will arrive by Thursday.

Hi Steve
I rang another dealer who also did not know anything about ithe dashcam however after seeing it he seemed to think it was just a plug and play into the mirror as there were no wires showing in the the picture. I will post all the details on it when it arrives.

nissan j12 dashcam

My new dashcam arrived today, it was not plug and play without taking several panels off. It looked a bit complicated so i rang the main dealer and they said they would fit it for £130 inc vat
I said ok and it is booked in for Monday.
I will scan the install instructions and upload and user guide

Will be good to see what it looks like fitted. You might want to take a micro so card with you so they can test the dashcam is working when they fit it (as it does not come with a micro so card).

That is my plan i have ordered two 64g ones off amazon which are arriving today

Re dashcam: i have now uploaded install files for j12 dashcam in a new thread titled j12 dashcam What else
To me they are typical chinese instructions which are supposed to be understood in any language !!!!
