I have just replaced the tyres on my Nissan for Rotella, I had them on a BMW and they were great. On average £50 a corner!

I've used Maxxis on my last 2 cars and found them perfectly acceptable, low road noise and good grip in wet and dry, but I am no longer a boy racer. :D

Maxxis are a superb tyre. They do great motorbike tyres, also very popular motorcross/quad bike and even bike tyres.

Can I ask how much the car tyres were?

That is a great price. £20+ cheaper than an alternative premium brand. I would put Maxxis into this bracket, it's just their name isn't recognised by most people.

I have used them on motorbikes and they were excellent.

Where did you get them fitted and balanced at this price?

Can only see about the £100 mark now.

What a rip off. I can get Michelin Primacy for around £100 just £20 more and would last around twice the mileage of ditchfinders and the performance would be leagues ahead.

I just re-read the post, I see it was Maxxis, which are not that bad, I thought it was those pathetic Chinese brand tyres, you paid for at that price

Hello,

So I have waited till payday to get my tyres, and now have the final option between 3 tyres, I dont want a none answer, but which do you think is the best option between these 3 and are only what I can afford:

Acellera Iota ST-68

Ling Long Green-Max HP010

Rotalla Setula 4 - ALL SEASON

Thanks

Great that you've come to a decision point. Unfortunately I know nothing about any of these tyres.

This morning I ordered Falkens for my car and have gone with all-season ones for a change - never had these before so I thought I'd try them out - and it's a nicer tread pattern! :)
