I think the problem is on j11b N connecta trim the connect system is called connect evo 7 and mine shows the same as Calnorths

I have a feeling you have Connect 3.5(?) which is a little later than my v3. If the dealer says no update then thats likely it. DAB dropouts are common...go back to FM as I have done.

I've probably spent enough time on this problem now. as you say, learn to live with it.
