Bose subwoofer amplifier

I've had my new J12 for about 5 months. We upgraded to the Bose sound pack and it's absolutely glorious. However I'm a little disappointed about the lack of settings that can be tweaked within the system itself, just the standard treble, middle and bass). Increasing the bass to the max doesn't seem to make a huge bit of difference to the output.

The sub in the boot is subtle and provides a decent amount of bass but I was wondering if anyone knew where the amplifier for it was and whether there is a way to tweak the output further?

For Audio the Amp will follow a standard output curve which includes the adjustment for treble and bass (high/low). So its either a flat response or adjustable at the high and low ends.

The trouble is really that much recorded media is dependent on who recorded it. Doesn't it have a Bass Boost or Loudness button?

Wondering what yours sounds like in the rear speakers. Ours is the new facelift version, the speakers at the front are great but the rears are really quiet and not load at all!

Is this normal?

Welcome to this forum.

It may sound overly obvious but have you adjusted the fader setting? You should be able to set it all the way to the rear to check the rear speaker volume
