Am I getting the right snow chains?

I already searched the forum but could not find a fitting thread.

I need some snow chains and I found some second hand which fit my wheel size (215/60 R17)
They are 9mm and that's where I need help. I don't know much about the wheel clearance business.
Will they fit? Or do I need to pay attention to anything else as not to wreck my wheels / car?

I read to check the manual if chains can be fitted, but I cannot find any such info for the J11.

Any advice?

lots of the membership is based in the U.K. and are unlikely to have much knowledge about this subject.
I think you will have to wait for one of our Northern European members to see your question.

Sorry, no help from Finland I'm afraid, we don't use chains on our tires. We have studded tires that are used from the start of November to end of March and outside of those months when weather requires us to do so.

The only thing I can suggest is putting the steering from lock to lock and checking what the clearance is.
