J11b: Waze & radio volume issue

Hi all!
For those of you who also have the New Connect and use Waze, maybe you have this problem too?
It happens to me regularly, 1 in 5 times or so, that when I am navigating with Waze after a few minutes the radio volume suddenly drops a bit and then only the navigation volume (number with the arrow symbol in the top left corner) can be adjusted. The volume of the radio (number with a musical note in the top left-hand corner) can no longer be adjusted.
The only solution is to switch to Apple music or to reboot the unit completely. After that, it works perfectly again.
Known phenomenon? And more importantly, is there a fix for it?
