A mobile phone has slipped down the gap between the rear seats and the boot.
Annoyingly we can see the phone but we dont know how (or what) to remove to give us access to this gap.
Its a mk3 '21 Qashqai

Agree with Gloucester, if you can’t get th.e phone out using chopsticks or skewers you might need to remove the seat
Good Luck

Take the seat squab out?
Thanks for the suggestion although I dont actually know what a "seat squab" is
I managed to resolve my problem using 2 hooks I made from a wire coat hanger. The curved edges of the phone made this quite straight forward.
I was surprised that no-one else has encountered this problem, but I was shocked that there is apparently no 'simple' solution?
The section of the boot immediately adjacent to the back seats has a slight amount of play as if its not bolted in place and I was fully expecting some to point out how easy this section is to remove (I didn't want to force anything as it also feels quite flimsy)
Ok, I've looked up what a seat squab is. I did find a video of someone removing the squab from an older model but i didnt know if that was still applicable to my situation.

Apologies for using "technical" language!
