Hi All

I've just had another software update to the car. It took around 10mins and you had to leave the parking brake on etc... Is there anything listed anywhere as to what has actually been fixed or changed with the update?

Nissan don't tend to publish that info.

What version number is this latest update?
2019 1.3 DiG-T 160 Tekna, black (J11b)
prev 2015 1.2 DiG-T n-tec+, black (J11)
prev 2009 1.5 dCi Acenta, black (J10)

No idea what it fixed or updated. Was hoping the interface changed lol

I have message to update also.

Do you just need to keep the ignition on or do you need to keep the engine running.

Any advice would be appreciated and helpful.

Once downloaded you need to be stationary with the parking brake on then tap software update again and it should start updating. Without engine one just the power.

You can only find sw level on j12 AIVI 3.1 in the diagnostic menu not in settings

Latest sw level is 5350

And latest update fixes are for Apple car play, rebooting blank screen, AVM freeze whilst reversing, bluetooth/wifi connection, no function in cold temperature, and some addresses not working in some countries.

AVM is certainly better when reversing so far.

Hope they fix the fact that you can't have the map in the driver display unless you've set a route
