I have the 12.3 info screen with Alexa and would like to add what app which is on my phone which is connected to car via bluetooth bat havent figured how to be able to yet but would love to add it.

Not sure whether you have an iPhone or Android but on an iPhone you need to access the settings for CarPlay:
Settings > General > CarPlay > MY CAR > Customise
This will bring up a list of Apps that can be displayed using CarPlay. You can also re-order them accordingly.
It could be a similar procedure for Android Auto?
